The S5 is also compatible with the S4 transaxle since the entire case is identical. Other than the caveats noted above, an S5 transaxle will bolt up to the same mounts of the MD4 box. Since the S5 uses cables to shift, versus a shift shaft on the MD5, you should make sure the routing of the appropriate shift cable planned out for your adaptation.
For that reason it will be noisy on the road but still useable.
